Listening Tour with Councilman Squilla – October 1, 2014 @ 6:00 pm

Roadmap for Growth

On Wednesday, October 1, First District Councilman Mark Squilla, in partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and Queen Village Neighbors, will host a Listening Tour community meeting at Gloria Dei Old Swedes’ Church, Christian and Water Streets, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.  This Listening Tour session is part of the Chamber’s Roadmap for Growth campaign, which is focused on job creation, economic growth, and the 2015 elections for Mayor of Philadelphia and City Council. Refreshments will be served.

The purpose of the Roadmap for Growth campaign, and this Listening Tour meeting, is to spark a broad public dialogue around the best ideas to promote job creation, growth, and a more thriving economy in Philadelphia.  The Roadmap for Growth campaign is scheduling Listening Tour sessions with neighborhood civic leaders in every City Council district in Philadelphia.

At the meeting on October 1st, the Chamber will unveil the findings from a Fact-Based Economic and Demographic Analysis that the Roadmap campaign has commissioned, looking at trends in population, jobs, income and business growth in Philadelphia over the past 10 years.  Councilman Squilla and the Chamber of Commerce encourage your attendance to allow your voice to be heard.
