Request: The application is for the change of use of the existing building to be used as a (1) medical, dental, and health practice; (2) store to sell sundries and pharmaceuticals; and (3) prepared food shop.  The application also seeks to reconfigure the existing parking lot to create twelve surface parking spaces (accessory to the use described), including two van accessible spaces.

Refused for the following:

  • Surface lots located along a street frontage require a five-foot wide landscaped area along the length of the perimeter to screen the parking from the street; NO perimeter landscaping is proposed.
  • Surface lots require 10% of the interior of the parking lot be planted with landscape; NO landscaping is proposed.
  • 18 accessory parking spaces are required; only 12 spaces are proposed.
